New Delhi, March 19 -- The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) on Wednesday, with an outlay of Rs 33,660 crore to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country.

The scheme aims to strengthen industrial infrastructure, boost manufacturing, and support Indias long-term economic growth.

BHAVYA will be implemented in partnership with states and private sector players, building on the experience of industrial smart cities under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP).
