New Delhi, June 12 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday said the adverse consequences of global conflicts and uncertainty fall disproportionately on developing countries and the Global South, calling for strengthened multilateral cooperation to build resilient economies and ensure inclusive growth.

Sitharaman was addressing the Global Convergence for Growth Summit, presided over by French President Emmanuel Macron and attended by top leadership from all G7 nations, along with India, Brazil, China, Kenya, South Korea, and the International Monetary Fund.

The summit focused on supporting balanced global growth anchored in an efficient multilateral framework.
