Fuel Price Hiked Again, Petrol Price In Delhi Inches Up To Rs 100 Per Litre
New Delhi, May 23 -- Oil marketing companies (Oilcos) have yet again increased pump prices of petrol and diesel, the third hike within 10 days as global crude oil prices continue to stay above US$100 a barrel amid West Asia conflict.
In the latest round, petrol and diesel prices have been raised by about 91 paise.
With this, petrol price in Delhi now costs Rs 99.51 per litre. Diesel price has jumped to Rs 92.49 a litre. In Kolkata, motorists have to pay Rs 110.64 for a litre of petrol while for diesel they have to fork out Rs 97.02.
In Mumbai, petrol is now priced at Rs 108.49 a litre while diesel costs Rs 95.02 a litre. Petrol price in Chennai has gone up to Rs 105.31 a litre while diesel is priced at Rs 96.98.
