New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- Delayed and outstanding invoices continue to affect the financial stability and operations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India.

According to a joint report titled "MSMEs Access to Finance and Timely Payments" released by Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), delayed payments owed to MSMEs stood at Rs 7.34 lakh crore as of March 2024.

While the figure has declined, the issue remains significant.
