New Delhi, May 27 -- The Digital Empowerment Foundation, Digikargha, and Creative Dignity have jointly announced the Digital Artisans of India Awards 2026, recognising Indian artisans and organisations that are harnessing digital tools to preserve traditional crafts, expand market reach, and build sustainable livelihoods.

The application submission deadline has been extended to May 31, 2026.

The initiative celebrates the intersection of India's rich handloom and handicraft heritage with contemporary digital innovation. As traditional Indian textiles and crafts continue to evolve through sustainable practices and modern design sensibilities, the award seeks to recognise those at the forefront of this transformation.
