New Delhi, March 23 -- Indias Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has recommended the imposition of anti-dumping duties on imports of viscose rayon filament yarn from China to protect domestic manufacturers, according to a government notification issued on Monday.
The trade remedies authority has proposed duties ranging from USD 386 to USD 1,071 per metric tonne on viscose rayon filament yarn above 75 deniers, a widely used man-made fibre in the textile industry, reported The Economic Times.
As per the recommendation, imports from Xinxiang Chemical Fibre Co Ltd would attract a duty of USD 386 per metric tonne, while Jilin Chemical Fiber Co Ltd would face USD 667 per metric tonne.
