New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- The Indian government has established a minimum import price of Rs 67,220 per tonne for virgin multi-layer paper board, effective until March 31, 2026, according to an official notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).

The regulated product serves multiple industrial applications, including packaging for pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, food and beverages, electronics, premium cosmetics, liquor, book covers, and publishing materials.

The DGFT notification specifies that the minimum import price of Rs 67,220 per tonne applies to the cost, insurance, and freight value for imports of virgin multi-layer paper board.
