New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- The Judicial Infrastructure Advisory Committee, constituted by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant, has submitted its interim report outlining a roadmap for modernising court infrastructure across the country.

Constituted on May 12, 2026, the committee was tasked with assessing infrastructure requirements within the justice delivery system and recommending measures to improve court facilities and working conditions.

The committee is headed by Supreme Court Justice Aravind Kumar and includes Justice Debangsu Basak of the Calcutta High Court, Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Justice Somasekhar Sundaresan of the Bombay High Court. CPWD Director General Satinder Pal Singh an...
