New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- The Centre has released the latest version of the India Energy Stack (IES) framework, a key digital initiative aimed at transforming data exchange across India's electricity ecosystem.

Phased Rollout Planned According to the Strategy Document, the initiative is progressing in phases, spanning design, pilot implementation and national rollout, to support a more reliable, flexible and transparent electricity system, reported the Financial Express.

The updated Version 0.3 incorporates refinements made through ecosystem consultations and technical testing. The framework documents are positioned as evolving drafts that will undergo periodic public review before full-scale deployment.
