New Delhi, May 18 -- Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan chaired a high-level meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in New Delhi to review the functioning and activities of the organisation.

During the meeting, the Union Minister conducted a detailed assessment of ICAR's ongoing programmes and future plans aimed at strengthening Indian agriculture and supporting farming communities across the country.
