New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- Domestic LPG consumers will need to complete Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) from October 1, 2026, to book refills at the regulated Retail Selling Price (RSP) with applicable subsidy.

As of September 19, 2026, 27.43 crore active domestic LPG consumers, or 89.9 per cent of the total, had completed BAA and do not need to repeat the process.

Consumers who have not completed authentication can do so during refill delivery through the delivery person's Oil Marketing Company (OMC) mobile application, at their LPG distributor's showroom, or through OMC mobile applications.
