Afghanistan, April 22 -- Ukraine's president calls on the EU to unblock a €90 billion aid package, saying Kyiv has met conditions and expects commitments fulfilled.

Volodymyr Zelensky urged the European Union to release a €90 billion aid package, saying there is no longer any reason to keep the funds frozen.

Writing on X late Tuesday, Zelenskiy said the EU had asked Ukraine to restore the Druzhba oil pipeline, which he said had been damaged by Russia, and that Kyiv had fulfilled the requirement.

He expressed hope the EU would now honour its commitments and move forward with disbursing the agreed financial support.
