Afghanistan, Dec. 21 -- The World Bank has approved $700 million in aid to Pakistan to support macroeconomic stability, strengthen public services, and promote inclusive sustainable development.

The World Bank has approved $700 million in financial assistance to Pakistan aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability and supporting public service delivery during a period of economic stress.

According to a statement released Friday, the funds are part of a multi-stage program called Public Resources for Inclusive Development, designed to support federal and provincial reforms while mobilizing domestic revenues.
