Afghanistan, March 20 -- A female health worker and her three-year-old child were killed in a reported Pakistani attack in Afghanistan's Kunar province, local sources said.
The strike took place Thursday morning in the Nari district, where the woman's husband, one of her sons and their driver were also wounded.
Sources said the victim worked at a health centre in Nuristan's Kamdesh district and was travelling home to Kunar during the Eid ceasefire period.
According to reports, the vehicle carrying the woman and her family was targeted along the way in Nari district, raising concerns about civilian safety.
