Afghanistan, Aug. 26 -- The World Health Organization has received $6.3 million to support Afghanistan's struggling health system, funding 42 clinics, 15 mobile health teams, and essential services for women and children.

The World Health Organization (WHO) in Afghanistan has secured over $6.3 million in humanitarian aid to bolster the country's fragile health infrastructure. This funding comprises $4.98 million from the United Nations' Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) and $1.39 million from the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), as reported on August 26, 2025.
