Afghanistan, April 8 -- Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to take part in planned U.S.-Iran peace talks in Islamabad, according to reports citing sources familiar with the preparations.
CNN and other U.S. media reported that the talks are being arranged with Pakistani mediation as part of a wider diplomatic push to reduce tensions between Washington and Tehran after weeks of conflict.
