Afghanistan, Aug. 1 -- The United States and Israel are considering a possible land blockade to increase economic pressure on Iran, The Telegraph reported, citing officials.
According to the report, the proposed measures would focus on limiting the movement of goods and reducing commercial activity through key overland routes used for Iran's imports and exports.
However, any effort to restrict Iran's regional trade corridors would depend heavily on cooperation from neighbouring countries, as Iran relies on surrounding states for significant parts of its cross-border commerce.
