Afghanistan, Feb. 12 -- UNICEF announces French-funded program delivering food and nutrition support to thousands of earthquake-affected families across eastern Afghanistan.
UNICEF announced a joint project with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and France to support families affected by recent earthquakes in eastern Afghanistan.
Funded by two million euros from France, the program aims to boost food production, improve nutrition access, and reduce malnutrition among vulnerable communities.
The initiative will directly assist more than 51,000 people in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, where many families lost livelihoods and face severe food insecurity.
