Afghanistan, May 13 -- The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan said on Wednesday it is selling part of its office and field equipment through a public tender process in Afghanistan.
UNAMA said companies, traders and organizations interested in purchasing the equipment can participate in the bidding process, with applications open until June 7.
According to the announcement, the items include office furniture, kitchen supplies, sports equipment, generators, shipping containers, and information technology and telecommunications equipment used by the mission's headquarters and regional offices.
The mission also encouraged organizations supporting people with disabilities to take part in the tender process.
