Afghanistan, Sept. 16 -- The United Nations reported more than three million people in Afghanistan are displaced by conflict and instability, warning urgent international aid is needed to address the humanitarian emergency.

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said on Tuesday that Afghanistan is grappling with a deepening humanitarian and displacement crisis, with millions forced from their homes.
