Afghanistan, Aug. 23 -- Drone debris struck two industrial facilities in Russia's Orenburg region, including a warehouse belonging to major online retailer Ozon, the regional governor said on Sunday, August 23, 2026, as Ukraine and Russia continue to trade long-range drone strikes amid the ongoing war.

Orenburg Governor Yevgeny Solntsev said on August 23 that Russian air defences had repelled six drones over the region and that debris from the attack damaged two industrial sites. He said there were no casualties and did not identify the second facility, according to Reuters.
