Afghanistan, April 1 -- The United Arab Emirates has suspended all visa categories for Iranian nationals, citing immediate travel and security measures amid heightened regional tensions.
Flydubai said the restrictions apply to Iranian nationals holding Iranian passports, including many travelers with UAE visit, tourist and residency documents. Reuters reported that the measures also affect transit passengers using Dubai as a connecting hub, sharply tightening travel access at a time of heightened regional tension.
