Afghanistan, Aug. 12 -- The United States has formally designated the Balochistan Liberation Army and its military wing as terrorist organizations, imposing sanctions to freeze assets and block financial or material support.
The United States Department of State announced on Monday, August 11, that it has designated the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its military wing as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).
According to Reuters, the decision also adds the BLA's military wing, known as the Majeed Brigade, to the Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) list.
