Afghanistan, Sept. 13 -- A U.S. delegation met Taliban officials in Kabul, centering discussions on American prisoners and agreeing to continue future dialogue.

A high-level U.S. delegation, led by Adam Boehler, Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, and accompanied by former envoy Zalmay Khalilzad, met in Kabul with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban's acting foreign minister.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties, addressing the issue of prisoners, exploring investment opportunities, and reviewing possible areas of cooperation in Afghanistan's economic and humanitarian sectors.
