Afghanistan, April 17 -- Hakan Fidan met Ahmed al-Sharaa in the Turkish city of Antalya ahead of a major international diplomacy forum, Turkish state media reported.
The meeting took place before the start of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which brings together world leaders, foreign ministers and representatives of international organisations to discuss global and regional challenges.
The forum, hosted by Turkey, is being held under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and is scheduled to run from Friday through Sunday.
Officials said the gathering is focused on addressing uncertainty in global politics and exploring diplomatic solutions to ongoing conflicts, particularly in the Middle East.
