Afghanistan, July 13 -- Turkish authorities have detained 20 undocumented Afghan migrants and arrested three people suspected of migrant smuggling during an operation in the northwestern province of Bolu, officials said on Monday.

According to Turkish police, the operation targeted irregular migration and human smuggling networks operating in the province. After completing administrative procedures, the Afghan nationals were transferred to the Bolu Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, where deportation proceedings were initiated.
