Afghanistan, Aug. 11 -- U.S. President Donald Trump secretly left Turkey aboard a smaller U.S. military aircraft last month amid security concerns over a reported Iranian threat, according to a report by The Washington Post.
The Washington Post reported that U.S. officials used an older Air Force One aircraft as a decoy after Trump attended a NATO summit in Ankara. Trump publicly boarded the aircraft, leading journalists and some White House personnel to believe he would travel on it.
Instead, Trump was reportedly transferred covertly using an airport catering vehicle to a smaller Air Force C-32A military jet. The aircraft then flew him to a U.S. military facility in Britain, according to the report.
