Afghanistan, May 26 -- Donald Trump said Iran's enriched uranium would either be handed over to the United States for destruction or eliminated under international supervision as part of a potential agreement between Washington and Tehran.
In a statement posted on Truth Social, Trump said the destruction or transfer of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile would be monitored by an atomic energy authority or a similar international body.
The remarks came after reports by Saudi-owned media outlet Al Hadath claimed Iran had expressed readiness to transfer highly enriched uranium outside the country, potentially to China, if security guarantees were provided.
