U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed that Ukraine and Russia should each agree to cede parts of their territory to one another in order to end the ongoing war.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, August 11, Trump said his upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled for Friday in Alaska, would be an opportunity to gauge Putin's willingness to reach an agreement.
