Afghanistan, July 26 -- US President Donald Trump has reportedly paused plans for further strikes on Iran, as his administration weighs the risk of a wider regional conflict and concerns over US air-defence resources in the Middle East.
The New York Times reported on Sunday, July 26, that Trump had decided to set aside plans for additional attacks on Iran. The newspaper said the decision was influenced partly by concerns about further escalation and dwindling stocks of Patriot interceptor missiles and other air-defence munitions held by the Pentagon in the region.
