Afghanistan, June 28 -- At least three people were killed and four others wounded after militants attacked a police base in Pakistan's southern city of Karachi, authorities said, in one of the most significant security incidents in the city in recent years.
According to Pakistani media reports, the attack targeted a police facility in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Jauhar area on Saturday. Security officials said the assailants detonated an explosive device at the entrance before opening fire on personnel stationed at the base.
