Speaking on Monday during his return flight from Switzerland, Qalibaf praised Iranian negotiators for what he described as ending the country's "siege" through diplomatic efforts rather than military action. He said resolving the dispute through force could have triggered a broader conflict and caused extensive damage across the region.
