Afghanistan, July 6 -- At least six people, including five children and a woman, were killed after three residential buildings collapsed in Mumbai following torrential monsoon rains, authorities said on Monday, as severe weather disrupted transport and prompted fresh weather warnings across India's financial capital.
According to Reuters, the buildings collapsed in the Mankhurd area, a densely populated neighborhood in eastern Mumbai, after hours of heavy rainfall. Rescue teams were deployed to search for survivors trapped beneath the rubble, while local authorities assessed the extent of the damage.
