Afghanistan, May 4 -- Women's participation in the workforce in Saudi Arabia has nearly doubled in recent years, rising from about 17% in 2017 to close to 35%, according to official data, as reforms continue to reshape traditionally male-dominated sectors such as construction.

The shift is part of broader economic reforms under Vision 2030 led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which aim to diversify the economy and expand employment opportunities for women across engineering, project management and infrastructure development.
