Afghanistan, Aug. 7 -- A court in the northern Indian city of Chandigarh has summoned Bollywood actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and officials of Style & Content Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. in connection with an alleged Rs.30 million rupees (about US$345,000) investment fraud linked to the Being Human jewellery brand.
According to Indian media reports, the summons were issued after businessman Arun Gupta filed a criminal complaint alleging that he invested nearly Rs.3 crore to establish a Being Human-branded jewellery outlet based on assurances of commercial support and profitability. The court has directed all accused to appear on October 5, 2026.
