Afghanistan, May 3 -- At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured as Russia and Ukraine exchanged major air and drone strikes overnight, officials said.

International media reported that at least 10 people were killed and 76 others injured following Russian airstrikes across multiple cities in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, according to BBC World News.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a major oil terminal in northwestern Russia was significantly damaged and two Russian tankers near Novorossiysk in the Black Sea were also targeted.

Zelenskyy described the vessels as part of Russia's so-called "shadow fleet," allegedly used to bypass Western sanctions, though no detailed assessment of the damage has been confirmed.
