Afghanistan, Aug. 12 -- Russian power engineering company Power Machines has expressed readiness to assess and rehabilitate Afghanistan's power-generation plants, including upgrading equipment and increasing domestic electricity production, Afghanistan's electricity utility said Wednesday.
Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) said its chief executive, Abdul Haq Hamkar, held talks with technical representatives of Power Machines on the comprehensive rehabilitation of power plants, modernization of equipment and expansion of generation capacity.
According to DABS, the Russian company plans to assess existing generation facilities and prepare a proposal for their rehabilitation, equipment upgrades and potential expansion.
