Afghanistan, April 15 -- Security Council of Russia has warned that the United States and Israel could use ongoing peace negotiations as a cover to prepare for a potential ground offensive against Iran.
According to TASS, the council said on Wednesday, April 15, that the Pentagon continues to increase its military presence in the region.
Russian officials also stated that Iran possesses sufficient military capabilities to respond to any potential attack, signaling confidence in Tehran's defensive preparedness amid rising regional tensions.
The warning comes as a two-week ceasefire remains in place between U.S.-Israeli forces and Iran following weeks of intense conflict that raised fears of a broader regional war.
