Afghanistan, Oct. 14 -- Afghan artist and entrepreneur Robaba Mohammadi has been named Artist of the Year at Canada's 2026 MAX Awards, receiving the honor at the organization's 10th annual gala in Toronto on October 10.
The awards are organized by Muslims Achieving Excellence (MAX), which recognizes professional achievements, leadership and contributions to the wider community. The Artist of the Year category honors individuals who have demonstrated significant achievement in the creative arts, according to the organization's official website.
