Afghanistan, July 18 -- Qatar has condemned a reported Iranian strike on Iraq's Kurdistan Region, describing it as a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and international law, while urging all parties to exercise restraint and pursue dialogue to prevent further escalation across the Middle East.
In a statement issued on Friday, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the reported attack represented a "flagrant violation" of the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. The ministry said such actions undermine regional stability and called for respect for the territorial integrity and independence of all states in accordance with international law.
