Afghanistan, June 7 -- Qatar has condemned an Israeli airstrike that killed two Lebanese army officers and a soldier in southern Lebanon, describing the attack as a dangerous escalation and a clear violation of Lebanon's sovereignty.
In a statement issued late Saturday, Qatar's Foreign Ministry said the strike threatened Lebanon's security and stability and called on the international community to take action to halt Israeli military operations against the country.
