Afghanistan, May 17 -- Vladimir Putin and Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the latest regional developments, including the situation surrounding Iran and broader Middle East tensions, during a phone call on Saturday.
Russia's Foreign Ministry said the two leaders reviewed issues linked to the Middle East crisis and emphasized the importance of continuing political and diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching agreements that consider the interests of regional countries.
The Kremlin said both sides also expressed satisfaction with the growing cooperation between Russia and United Arab Emirates in political, trade and economic sectors, while reaffirming their commitment to maintaining close bilateral ties.
