Afghanistan, March 10 -- A delegation of Pakistani religious scholars has traveled to Kabul for talks with Taliban authorities as tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan continue to escalate following recent clashes along the border.
Pakistani media reported on Tuesday, March 10 that the three-member delegation includes prominent clerics Maulana Fazlur Rahman Khalil, Maulana Abdullah Shah Mazhar, and Maulana Sajid Usman. According to reports, the group is currently holding discussions with Taliban officials in Kabul.
Tolo News quoted sources in Kabul as saying the visit aims to explore possible ways to resolve disputes and reduce the recent tensions between Kabul and Islamabad.
