Afghanistan, Oct. 11 -- Pakistan's defence minister warned that Islamabad may take military action inside Afghanistan if cross-border militant attacks persist, accusing the Taliban of failing to prevent incursions.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Islamabad reserves the right to act inside Afghanistan if terrorist groups operating there carry out attacks on Pakistani soil.
Speaking to local broadcaster Samaa TV on Friday, Asif accused the Taliban of failing to prevent militant groups from using Afghanistan territory to launch assaults against Pakistan.
He said, "If blood is shed on our soil from the Afghanistan's side, we have the right to hold them accountable - even inside Afghanistan." His remarks signal a growing frustra...
