Afghanistan, Aug. 17 -- Pakistani security officials said seven members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Kharan district of Balochistan, as security forces continue operations against militant networks in the country's border regions.

Pakistani media reported that the operation was carried out on Sunday, August 16, after security forces received intelligence about the presence of armed militants at a hideout. Officials said the operation was conducted under the military campaign known as "Radd-ul-Fasaad 3", while the Pakistani government refers to TTP members as Fitna al-Khawarij.
