Afghanistan, Oct. 17 -- Pakistan has reopened the Spin Boldak border with Afghanistan after a week-long closure, allowing temporary movement of stranded migrants amid heightened cross-border tensions.

Pakistan has temporarily reopened the Spin Boldak border crossing with Afghanistan for the movement of migrants after keeping it closed for a week, local media reported on Friday.

According to Taliban-run state television, Pakistani authorities at the crossing have allowed limited passage for Afghan travelers and migrants stranded on both sides of the border.
