Afghanistan, June 29 -- Pakistan's Interior Ministry has ordered police nationwide to immediately arrest Afghan nationals found without valid visas starting July 10, as Islamabad intensifies its campaign against undocumented migrants, according to local media.
Pakistan's Dawn newspaper reported on Monday that the Interior Ministry instructed all provincial governments, special administrative regions, and law enforcement agencies to accelerate the detention and deportation of Afghan nationals lacking legal immigration status.
The directive also requires authorities to submit daily reports detailing the number of Afghan nationals found without valid visas, actions taken against them, and their current status.
