Afghanistan, April 27 -- Missile strikes by Pakistan hit Kunar province, killing three and injuring dozens, as cross-border tensions with Afghanistan continue to rise.
Sources say missile strikes by Pakistan hit parts of Kunar on Monday, killing at least three people and injuring 45 others, as cross-border tensions continue to escalate.
The strikes reportedly targeted areas in and around Asadabad, including the Faculty of Education at Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan University, which sustained damage during the attack.
Local sources said several residential neighborhoods and villages were also struck, raising concerns about civilian safety, while no confirmed reports indicated that nearby military positions were directly hit.
