Afghanistan, June 27 -- Pakistani authorities have arrested five people, including three Chinese nationals, after dismantling an alleged network accused of illegally processing and exporting human placental tissue from the capital, Islamabad, officials said on Friday.

Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided two properties in Islamabad where it uncovered facilities allegedly used to process and dry human placental tissue before exporting the products to Vietnam under the label "She Placenta," Arab News reported on Friday. The operation led to the arrest of three Chinese nationals and two Pakistani citizens.
