Afghanistan, Aug. 9 -- Pakistan's army says 33 Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan militants were killed in a night raid near the Afghanistan border, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailing the operation a success.

The Pakistan Army has announced that 33 militants from Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in a night-time operation near the Afghanistan border.

In a statement issued on Friday, August 8, the army said the operation took place in Zhob district of Balochistan, where security forces intercepted a group of militants entering from Afghanistan.
